‘Bolera’ GMA’s Sports Serye to Premiere on May 30

'Bolera' is a sports serye produced by GMA Network that tells the story of Joni played by Kylie Padilla, a promising street-smart pool-hustling girl, who fights her way from the slums to get a shot at becoming a pool champion in the male-dominated world of billiards.

Bloggers had a chance to interview the cast of the upcoming sports serye. Bolera is the comeback show of Kylie Padilla and it’s on a primetime block. This is the first time that Kylie and Jak Roberto will work together since Rayver Cruz and Kylie worked in a movie before. 

Bolera production also tapped Billiard masters Johann Chua and Geona Gregorio who help in coaching and training Kylie to play the role well. Legends like Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes and Django Bustmante visited the tapings and even played Billiards with Kylie Padilla. 

Joining Kylie in this series are Rayver Cruz as Miguel, Jak Roberto as Toypits, Gardo Versoza as Cobrador, Joey Marquez as Freddie, Jaclyn Jose as Tessa, David Remo as Tres, and Al Tantay as Joma.
