Isang Pilipinas Coalition Pushes for Isko and Sara Tandem

“Isang Pilipinas,” is a coalition that was formally launched on Wednesday, March 9 at the Club Filipino in San Juan City. Press, Bloggers and different groups were invited to witness their objectives and advocacies on why they formed the coalition. 

It started with the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno to push for the tandem of Isko and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio for the upcoming elections.

Actress Vivian Velez said, “I think the mayors are the best people to run this country especially when we have a crisis”. Velez, the lead convenor of the "ISAng Pilipinas" said the group’s choice of Moreno and Sara was a result of a long vetting process of presidential and vice-presidential candidates. 

Isang Pilipinas is a private initiative of different sectors and was not endorsed by the President.
